Hey guys! If you follow Frank on Twitter (@franksidoris) you may have already seen this but I promised I would pass along his message to the team. For those of you without, Frank sent me a message and I wanted to share it! The compliment goes out to everyone who has supported The Cab, WATSS, and Frank himself since his joining and now parting with the band:
Izzy— I’m not much of a tumblr guy, so I don’t know how to get this in the feed, but send my love and appreciating to everyone! Again, I can’t thank everyone enough for the never-ending love and support. The photos and stories were incredible. Thank you!!

What WATSS is capable of is completely dependent on those that support it. The team would be nothing without you guys and I hope you truly do know that myself and Daniela both can’t thank you enough for that. You’ve given us a means to help support our favorite band even in the simplest of ways such as small letter posts, and in turn we can all help each other to move The Cab forward on to even bigger and better things! Thank you for believing in their dreams.

Farewell, Frank!
Last July it was announced you would be joining The Cab as touring guitarist and the fan base couldn’t have been more thrilled. Between your awesome talent and luscious locks we fell for you immediately! Since then fans have been able to witness your journey with The Cab right until this chapters end. We’re so happy to hear that you’ll be fulfilling your own dreams of touring with Slash, but we’ll miss you dearly among The Cab’s territory! Below you’ll find messages from fans. Team Shirts
Hey guys! We’re happy to announce that team shirts are now available from Liner Note Kids. A huge shout out to our friend Charli for creating a new logo for the street team.
The front of your shirt will have our new logo. The backside will have “Team Member” written. As a special bonus, they come personalized with your name on the back for no additional cost. Make sure if the buyers name is not the desired name you want on your shirt (or you prefer to go by a nickname) that you include what name you want on your shirt in the purchase notes during checkout.

January Updates
Hello, everyone! We have a few quick updates for you!
- The newsletter. We apologize greatly for the minor slack in this area, but rest assured we’re hitting the new year with a resolve to ensure you have a new e-mail each week with the latest updates from the team! We’ve had a few e-mail functionality issues with the size of the street team growing so rapidly - a problem we’re more than welcoming to! The issue is currently being resolved and we’ll hopefully be on a better schedule within the coming weeks. To that end, we’d also like to announce that we’ll be switching our send out day from Wednesday to Sunday. The middle of the week has proved too hectic. Expect the same information to come to you, just a different day! That being said our first newsletter of the year will be coming to you this upcoming Sunday rather than tomorrow (Wednesday). If you’re not presently part of our mailing list, you may sign up here.
- Lyric video contest winner. Back in November our lyric video contest ended. We received a wonderful pull of submissions and you may be wondering who was selected as the winner. As a reminder, the contest was to make a lyric video for one of The Cab’s new songs from Symphony Soldier. The winner is to receive their video featured as The Cab’s next official lyric video on their web site as well as a t-shirt prize pack. Why haven’t we announced the winner? Simple: the WATSS staff are not the ones selecting the winner - The Cab is! They have viewed all of the submissions and have selected their choice. We will be announcing the winner this month.
- WATSS’ Facebook page. If you don’t already have the street team liked on Facebook, you may visit our page here. It’s just another way for us to keep you guys updated on news happening with the team. We’ve also decided to utilize a feature on Facebook that we don’t have here on Tumblr: the events page. You will find a fresh batch of tour dates for the upcoming Everything’s Fine Symphony Soldier tour, the Soundwave Festival, and Smash Project. If you’ll be attending any of the shows, please RSVP! We would love to help you guys meet up with fellow fans and make new friends! It’s also a great way to find someone to travel with if you need to carpool with others! After your show has passed, feel free to comment about the show on the events wall with photos and videos from the show!
By way of general announcements, we’re incredibly excited to see the continued flow of support towards The Cab and this street team. With all of the success we firmly believe that with this new year we personally can better ourselves professionally as street team leaders and assist you as street team members to help promote The Cab and meet more fans along the way. Expect to see great things for 2012!
