We are very excited to announce that Matthew W. has won the lyric video contest! As promised, your video for “La La” is now featured as The Cab’s latest official video and you will be receiving your t-shirts in the mail shortly.

Last week in our switch to the new URL, we promised everyone who re-submitted or freshly submitted a profile would be entered to win one “I <3 TC” shirt. Tonight, we have the winner for you! Based on the order of submissions, we entered the amount to random.org and pulled a number.

We are thrilled to announce to you our first huge contest giveaway! WATSS has grown immensely in such a short period of time and we wanted to give back to you, the fans. Without you guys our efforts as a street team wouldn’t be nearly as meaningful or successful. That being said: this one’s for you! We’ve put together a Cab prize pack that we hope you’ll enjoy.

Mandatory requirements for all participants:
If you’re already doing all three of those things, congratulations! You’re a valid participant and all set to enter our contest!
How to enter:
If you’re on our street team already, then you know as of Wednesday, September 7th, 2011, and running through Wednesday, October 12th, 2011 we will be issuing a series of weekly street team challenges for you to complete. Each week a new challenge will be issued through our street team mailing list; missions will not be posted on the website. Complete the mission and report back to us (each individual week we’ll give instructions on where/how). Weekly missions do not have to be completed the week of their release. If you choose to complete all five missions in the last week, that is acceptable though not encouraged. Stay on track each week and you’re less likely to forgot to complete a mission!
If you have not been our street team for the full five weeks, that is okay! You still have time to enter. Regardless of your start time, everyone has up until 11:59PM October 12th, 2011 to complete the missions. Additionally we will include previous weeks’ missions in the street team newsletter each week so that you’ll have all the correct information and instructions to complete the missions.
If at the end of the five weeks you have completed all five missions and reported the completion to us, in addition to fulfilling the eligible participant requirements, you will be entered to win the prize pack.

CONTEST: Create Your Own Lyric Video!
As announced last week, The Cab released their new lyric video for “Bad”. They requested fan photos and used them to create a collage for the video. Now we want to see what you can come up with.
Eligibility Requirements
For this contest the only mandatory requirement we have is that you be following We Are The Symphony Soldiers. If you already are, congrats! You’re eligible. If you’re only just now seeing this and don’t follow the blog, follow now!

Email a YouTube or Mediafire link to thecabstreetteam@hotmail.com and please include your full name, age, Tumblr and Twitter links, and where you are from.
Video Selection
WATSS staff members will not be determining the winner - the members of The Cab themselves will! All video submissions will be passed along to The Cab for viewing where they will then choose their favorite submission.
